E-17a Town
What it means
Marks the entry to a town and gives its name. Sign E-17a alone does not create a built-up area: the 50 km/h limit is set only by sign D-42.
In the exam
The green board with a name (E-17a) is information only. The white board with a skyline (D-42) is a built-up area and a 50 km/h limit. They often stand together, but not always.
