Which of the these actions should you perform when riding a motorcycle, and need to overcome a sharp bend of the road?

In the photo the road turns sharply to the left at the entrance to a town; there are guide boards U-3 on the bend, and before it a green sign E-17a with the name of the town. When you have to ride through a sharp bend, you adjust your speed early enough so as not to use the brake on the bend - answer B.

The Road Traffic Act requires you to ride at a speed that ensures control over the vehicle, taking into account the terrain and the condition of the road, and to brake without causing danger. In a bend the tyre divides its grip between turning and braking; when the motorcycle is leaning, applying the brake (answer C) easily goes beyond this limit - the front wheel tucks under or the rear wheel slides, and the motorcycle straightens its line and runs wide to the outside. Changing down a gear on the bend (answer A) works in a similar way - the jolt of engine braking can make the rear wheel slide. That is why you finish all braking and gear changes on the straight, before the bend, and enter the bend with the throttle slightly open, which stabilises the suspension; you only add more throttle when you can see the exit of the bend. Guide boards U-3 are put up on particularly dangerous bends - they show the direction of the bend and warn that you must clearly change your direction of travel.
