C-1 Turn right before the sign

What it means

Requires you to turn right before the sign, i.e. into the nearest road on the right before you pass the sign. Applies at the next intersection or at the place where it stands.

In the exam

The difference between C-1 and C-2: an arrow bent downwards (C-1) means turn before the sign, a straight arrow to the right (C-2) means turn after the sign.

Legal basis: § 35 of the regulation of the Ministers of Infrastructure and of the Interior and Administration on road signs and signals (Dz.U. 2019 poz. 2310, as amended).
