In the photo you can see a worker who is connecting two tram carriages with a coupler. When two carriages are being coupled together, you should not operate the brake release devices (luzowniki) of the carriage being coupled - answer A.
Operating the brake release devices releases the shoe brakes, and the carriage being coupled must be kept at a standstill at that time. Otherwise it could roll and crush the worker at the coupler. Switching on the side marker lights (answer B) does not get in the way of coupling, and following the occupational health and safety rules (answer C) is actually a duty. The carriages are connected at low speed and with good communication with the worker at the coupler. You release the brakes of the carriage only after the carriages have been connected.
