Show the correct answer
Correct answer
A. A three-wheeled motorcycle whose power does not exceed 15 kW.
Explanation
In the photo, there is the back of a driving licence on which only category A2 has been entered, with the issue date 19.01.13 and the expiry date 19.01.28. With a category A2 driving licence, you can ride a three-wheeled motorcycle with a power not exceeding 15 kW - answer A.
The Vehicle Drivers Act states that a category A2 driving licence entitles you to drive a motorcycle with a power of up to 35 kW and a power-to-unladen-mass ratio of up to 0.2 kW/kg, a three-wheeled motorcycle with a power of up to 15 kW, and category AM vehicles. A quadricycle with an unladen mass of 550 kg (answer B) requires category B1 or B, and a slow-moving vehicle (answer C) requires category T or, in Poland, one of the categories B, C1, C, D1 or D. For a three-wheeled motorcycle with a power above 15 kW you need category A (from the age of 21), and in Poland a category B driving licence held for at least 3 years is also enough. You can obtain category A2 from the age of 18, and after holding it for two years you can get category A at the age of 20.
