The Road Traffic Act states that the owner of a motor vehicle is obliged to present it for a technical inspection, and the periodic inspection of a motorcycle is carried out before 3 years have passed since the first registration, then before 5 years have passed since the first registration and no later than 2 years after the previous inspection, and after that every year. The vehicle inspector enters the date of the next inspection in the vehicle registration certificate, and this date is binding for you. Answer B (every 6 months) and answer C (every 3 years regardless of the registration date) do not match this schedule. Riding with an expired inspection means more than a fine: a police officer retains the vehicle registration certificate, and the insurer may dispute a payout from AC (comprehensive insurance).
