S-3 Directional signal
What it means
A signal whose aspects are arrow-shaped and apply only to the directions shown. A green arrow means you can travel in that direction without conflict with other vehicle movements (conflict-free traffic), but you still give way to pedestrians if they are crossing on green.
The green arrow on S-3 (the whole aspect is an arrow) is not the same as the conditional green arrow S-2 (a small arrow next to the red). At S-3 you do not have to stop.
