The EU Regulation defines a regular weekly rest period as at least 45 hours and allows it to be reduced to at least 24 hours, on condition that it is compensated. The values 8 hours (answer A) and 13 hours (answer C) do not come from this calculation. The driver must take these 10 hours in one go, as a whole, before the end of the third week following the week in question, attaching them to another rest period of at least 9 hours.
