When you transport heavy working machines or construction equipment, are you obliged to use steel ropes and wedges?

In the photo there is a heavy yellow working machine on its own three-axle chassis. When carrying heavy working machines or construction equipment, you are obliged to use steel lashings and wedges - the answer is A.

The Road Traffic Act states that a load placed on a vehicle should be secured against moving, and the devices for fastening it - against loosening, hanging down or falling off while driving. A machine weighing more than ten tonnes that moves during braking may crush the cab or overturn the whole vehicle combination. The machine's parking brake (answer B) is not enough, because it will not hold it during sudden braking or in a bend, and the length of the route (answer C) does not matter - braking sharply just once at the first junction is enough for the load to slide. You attach the steel lashings to the fixing points provided on the machine, and you place the wedges under the wheels or tracks.
