In the presented situation, did the drivers, in accordance with the regulations, facilitate the free passage of the emergency vehicle, by creating the so-called "emergency corridor"?

In the picture there is a roadway with two lanes in one direction; an ambulance with its blue lights and siren on is driving along the middle, between the lanes, and all the vehicles have moved to the edges: those in the left lane to the left, those in the right lane to the right, forming a clear corridor. The drivers have allowed the passage in compliance with the regulations by forming an emergency corridor. The answer is: yes.

The Road Traffic Act states that when heavy traffic makes it difficult for an emergency vehicle (with flashing blue lights and a siren) to pass freely, on a roadway with two lanes in the same direction, the driver of a vehicle in the left lane must move out of the way by pulling over as close as possible to the left edge of the lane, and the driver in the right lane - by pulling over as close as possible to the right edge of the lane. So the corridor is formed in the middle of the roadway, along the line between the lanes, and this is exactly what it looks like in the picture. Cars placed like this leave an ambulance or a fire engine a wide, straight passage without the need to brake. You pull over in good time, as soon as you see the signals, and after the emergency vehicle has passed, you return to your lane, without driving along the corridor behind it.
