D-6 Pedestrian crossing
What it means
Marks a place for pedestrians to cross the road. As you approach you must slow down so as not to endanger pedestrians, and give way to a pedestrian on the crossing or stepping onto it. Overtaking on the crossing and just before it is banned, as is passing a vehicle that has stopped to let a pedestrian cross. Plate T-27 marks a crossing used heavily by children.
