Drivers often think that a small trailer lets them drive as if there were none, but in fact it is a light, empty trailer that most easily starts to sway at higher speed and in gusts of wind from lorries being overtaken. So on a motorway with a trailer you drive in the right lane at up to 80 km/h, increase the following distance from the vehicle in front and overtake only when you have a lot of space.
