How should you drive a bus on a bend of the road?

In the photo you can see a narrow road with a bend to the right, warning sign A-1, a speed limit of 60 km/h and chevron boards on the bend. You drive a bus through a bend by smoothly adjusting your path to the curve of the bend - answer A.

The Road Traffic Act requires you to drive at a speed that ensures control over the vehicle, taking into account the terrain and the load of the vehicle. A bus has a high centre of gravity and carries people who are often standing, so sudden steering movements in a bend can easily knock passengers over or cause a skid. That is why you slow down before the bend and drive the bus smoothly through it. Driving with the clutch pressed down (answer B) takes away engine braking and control over the drive, and maximum engine revs (answer C) mean unnecessary acceleration. Also remember that on a tight bend the rear wheels of a long bus cut the corner towards the inside, and the rear overhang swings outwards.
