Question no. 6991 3 pts basic PT

In this situation, are you allowed to enter beyond the traffic signal?

Show the correct answer

Correct answer

NO

Explanation

In the video, we are driving a tram on tracks next to the roadway towards a place where the tracks cross the street. Next to the track there is the sign B-25 "no overtaking", and next to it traffic lights for cars showing a green light and tram traffic lights showing a horizontal bar. In this situation, you do not have the right to drive beyond the traffic lights - the answer is NO.

The tram driver follows the tram traffic lights, not the green light for cars. A horizontal bar means no entry beyond the traffic lights, so you stop the tram and wait for the vertical bar. A tram is coming from the opposite direction, and cars are driving along the roadway - entering on a prohibiting signal could lead to a collision.

Legal basis: § 103 and § 104 para. 1 point 3 of the Regulation on road signs and signals
