Show the correct answer
Correct answer
C. 80 km/h.
Explanation
In the photo you can see signs D-9 "motorway" above signs D-8 "end of expressway" on both sides of the road. When driving a bus with no more than 15 seats, you may travel on a motorway at a maximum of 80 km/h - answer C.
The Road Traffic Act states that a bus may travel on a motorway at a maximum of 80 km/h, and only a bus that meets the additional technical conditions may travel at 100 km/h. A bus is any motor vehicle designed to carry more than 9 people including the driver, so having 15 seats does not help here at all - it is still a bus. The values 60 km/h (answer A) and 70 km/h (answer B) are not the limit for a bus on a motorway. Also remember the speed limiter: in a bus of category M2 or M3 it must limit the speed to 100 km/h, which is a technical barrier, not permission to drive faster than 80 km/h.
