In what position should the tachograph switch be placed if a driver supervises the loading of a truck for one hour?

In the illustration, three tachograph switch symbols: A - crossed hammers, B - a bed, C - a square crossed by a diagonal line. When you supervise loading for an hour, you set the switch to position A.

The EU Regulation on tachographs requires the driver to record separately driving time, other work, periods of availability, and breaks and rest. The crossed hammers symbol means exactly other work - all activities done for the employer apart from driving the vehicle: loading and unloading, supervising them, customs formalities, washing and daily maintenance of the vehicle. The bed (answer B) means a break or rest, that is time you can use freely, and the square with a diagonal (answer C) is a period of availability, for example accompanying the vehicle on a ferry or a train, or waiting at a border crossing. Supervising loading is work, so if you set the switch to availability, an inspection will treat it as incorrect recording of other work.
