If you ride outside a built-up area and you do not make any manoeuvres, should you observe the road behind your moped?

In the photo there is a road through a forest, and at the right-hand edge there is sign D-43 "end of built-up area". When riding outside a built-up area without making any manoeuvres, you regularly check the road behind the moped in the mirror - answer B.

Outside towns, cars travel much faster than a moped, so someone is always catching up with you and overtaking you. Glancing in the mirror regularly lets you notice early a vehicle approaching fast, a column or an ambulance with its lights and siren on, and get ready: keep to the right-hand edge, do not suddenly change your line, slow down if necessary. Not watching (answer A) means that you will learn about an overtaking vehicle only when it passes you. Turning your head (answer C) for longer takes your eyes away from the road ahead - you look over your shoulder only just before changing lanes or turning, to check the blind spot. A moped must have a mirror on the left-hand side.
