Are you allowed to turn left from the lane you are occupying?

Show the correct answer

Correct answer

NO

Explanation

There are two kinds of arrows on the roadway. In your lane, the old white left arrow has been crossed out with yellow lines, and instead a yellow lane direction arrow for turning right has been painted - this is temporary marking during roadworks. White left arrows have also remained in the lanes on the left. Yellow markings are more important than white ones, so from the lane you are in you may only go right - a left turn is prohibited.

If there are white and yellow road markings on the road showing different ways of behaving, the driver follows the yellow ones. A lane direction arrow, in turn, means that driving from the lane where it is placed is allowed only in the direction shown by the arrow. When you want to go left, you must change in good time to a lane whose yellow markings allow this.
