You intend to turn right. Do you have to yield the right of way to the vehicle approaching from the left?
Show the correct answer
Correct answer
NO
Explanation
Before the junction there is sign D-1 "priority road" with plate T-6a, on which the thick line starts on your side and turns right. So the priority road leads to the right, and the road entering from the left is a minor road. When you turn right, you continue along the priority road, and the vehicle approaching from the left must give way to you - not you to it.
Plate T-6a under sign D-1 shows the actual course of the priority road through the junction. A driver on a minor road is obliged to give way to every vehicle on the priority road, regardless of the direction in which that vehicle is going. Even so, watch that car and signal your turn with your indicator - right of way does not release you from caution.
