Does the visible "bus stop line" signify a roadway on which driving is prohibited?

Show the correct answer

Correct answer

NO

Explanation

In the photo you can see a bus stop by a roadway where a zigzag bus stop line P-17 is painted in the right lane along the stop. This line does not mark an area of the roadway on which driving is prohibited - the answer is NO.

Marking P-17 "bus stop line" marks the place of a bus stop on the roadway and means that other vehicles must not stop along the whole length of the line. You may drive over this place - you just must not stop or park there, so as not to block the bus. An area which you must not enter or stop on is marked by a different marking - P-21 "hatched area" (powierzchnia wyłączona), that is, an area with diagonal stripes. When passing the bus stop, watch out for passengers and for a bus that may be pulling away from it.
