In this situation, when driving straight ahead through the intersection, are you obliged to yield way to the vehicles approaching from the right?
Show the correct answer
Correct answer
YES
Explanation
In the video we approach a junction with sign B-20 "STOP" and plate T-6c, which shows that the priority road comes from the opposite direction and turns left, and that the road on the right is - like ours - a minor road. When going straight on, you are obliged to give way to vehicles approaching from the right - the answer is YES.
At sign B-20 you stop and give way to vehicles on the priority road, whose course is shown by plate T-6c. The entry on the right, however, is also a minor road, and between vehicles on minor roads priority is decided by the right-hand rule from the Road Traffic Act. When going straight on, you cross the path of a vehicle coming out from the right, so you must give way to it - just as to vehicles on the priority road. So at a junction with a plate it is worth counting everyone you have to let through, not only the vehicles on the main road.
