Can the emergency route created as shown in the picture for an emergency vehicle be used by the driver of an emergency roadside assistance vehicle taking part in a rescue operation?

The driver of a roadside assistance vehicle taking part in a rescue operation may use a passage formed in this way. The answer is: yes.

The Road Traffic Act prohibits the driver of a vehicle other than an emergency vehicle (with flashing blue lights and a siren) from using the passage for an emergency vehicle formed by vehicles pulling over to the edges of the lanes, but it states directly that this ban does not apply to vehicles of road authorities or roadside assistance taking part in a rescue operation. Roadside assistance called to the scene of an accident to remove the crashed vehicles and clear the roadway is part of the rescue operation, just like the road authority services that secure the scene; without them the traffic jam will not clear. The condition is taking part in the operation - a recovery truck going to an ordinary job or towing a car from a car park must not use the corridor, just like any other vehicle. So after the fire service has passed, you do not return to the middle of the roadway straight away, but check whether more service vehicles are coming along the corridor.
