Which of these factors may cause rapid wear of the tires on the front wheels of a passenger car?

When the toe-in of the front wheels is out of adjustment, the wheels do not roll in parallel, but slightly "turn in" towards each other or spread out to the sides; the tyre is then dragged sideways over the asphalt on every metre of the road and wears away like an eraser, usually unevenly - from the inner or outer edge, with the typical "saw-tooth" wear of the tread. The tread can disappear in a few thousand kilometres instead of a few dozen thousand. The Regulation on the technical conditions of vehicles requires tyres to have a tread depth of at least 1.6 mm, without damage exposing the tyre carcass, and the Road Traffic Act requires a vehicle to be maintained so that it does not endanger safety. Uneven tyre wear is a signal to check the wheel alignment, especially after hitting a kerb; at the same time, check the tyre pressure once a month and rotate the wheels as recommended by the manufacturer.
