Show the correct answer
Correct answer
C. Yes.
Explanation
The illustration shows a Polish driving licence with a table of categories. A category B driving licence entitles you to drive a vehicle combination made up of a passenger car and a trailer whose combined maximum permissible mass does not exceed 3.5 t - answer C. There is no 30 km/h speed condition (B), and answer A is wrong.
The Vehicle Drivers Act states that a category B driving licence entitles you to drive a motor vehicle with a maximum permissible mass of up to 3.5 t (except a bus and a motorcycle), a combination made up of such a vehicle and a light trailer, that is one with a maximum permissible mass of up to 750 kg, and a combination with a trailer other than a light one, as long as the combined maximum permissible mass of the combination does not exceed 4250 kg, while a combination over 3.5 t requires an additional practical test. The combination in the question is within 3.5 t, so you drive it with an ordinary category B licence without any additional conditions. What counts is the sum of the masses from the vehicle registration certificates of the car and the trailer, not their actual mass - if the car has a maximum permissible mass of 2000 kg, you can attach a trailer with a maximum permissible mass of up to 1500 kg.
