G-1a Countdown post with three bars on the right side of the carriageway
What it means
The post with three diagonal bars stands next to warning sign A-9 or A-10, i.e. at the greatest distance from the level crossing. The next posts (two bars, one bar) count down the approach to the tracks.
In the exam
The bars on G-1 posts count down the distance: three bars = at the warning sign, two = 2/3 of the distance, one = 1/3 of the distance to the crossing.
