A-22 Steep descent
What it means
Warns of a significant downward gradient, i.e. a steep hill down. Plate T-9 gives the actual gradient in percent. Going down, brake with the engine in a lower gear so the brakes do not overheat.
In the exam
On a steep hill the vehicle going down must give way to the one going up if they cannot pass each other (unless the heavier vehicle is the one going down).
