Does this sign inform you about the location of a youth hostel?
Show the correct answer
Correct answer
YES
Explanation
In the video you are driving along a street with cars parked on both sides, and on the right there is a blue sign with a symbol of a house and a fir tree and an arrow to the right - D-33 "youth hostel". This sign informs you about the location of a youth hostel. The answer is: yes.
The Regulation on road signs and signals lists D-33 "youth hostel" among information signs, such as D-28 "restaurant", D-29 "hotel (motel)" or D-30 "camp (campsite)", which inform you about the facilities shown on the sign that are located by the road; the arrow shows the direction to get there. Signs from this group do not impose any obligations - they help with orientation, especially for tourists. However, it is worth being able to recognise them, because near a hostel or a campsite you can expect pedestrians with luggage and cyclists.
