Which, of the following types of brakes, cannot be checked at the depot?

The electrodynamic brake uses the traction motors working as generators, so it only works at a suitable speed, which is not reached at the depot. The safety brake (answer A) and the track brake (answer B) can be checked when the tram is stationary or at very low speed. That is why you carefully check how the electrodynamic brake works at the start of the route. You check the other brakes before leaving, while still at the depot, in line with the tram's operating instructions, and you report every fault to the technical staff.
