When do you have to conduct a periodic technical check-up of a tractor?

The owner of an agricultural tractor is obliged to present it for a technical inspection. For a tractor, an agricultural trailer and a moped, the Road Traffic Act provides for the first periodic inspection before 3 years have passed since the first registration, and each subsequent one before another 2 years have passed. The inspection date is entered in the vehicle registration certificate by the registration authority, and after a positive inspection the vehicle inspector enters the next date there - this is the date that binds you. "Always every 3 years" (answer A) and "always every 2 years" (answer B) ignore the fact that the first period is longer than the following ones. Driving without a valid technical inspection is against the law and you risk a fine. You go for the inspection before the deadline, preferably with time to spare, because if faults are found, they still have to be repaired.
