Question no. 10901 3 pts basic AM

In this situation, are you approaching a road with the right of way?

Show the correct answer

Correct answer

YES

Explanation

In the video we are driving along a road among houses; at the right-hand edge there is sign D-2 "end of priority road", and below it sign A-7 "give way" with the plate "STOP 50 m". In this situation you are approaching a priority road - the answer is YES.

Sign A-7 warns of a junction with a priority road - it is the drivers on that road who have right of way, and you must give way to them. The plate "STOP 50 m" warns that 50 m ahead there is sign B-20 "STOP", which means that you must not enter the junction without stopping before the priority road, and that you must give way to vehicles travelling on it. You stop before the stop line, and if there is none - at a place from which you can see the priority road and do not obstruct traffic on it. Only after making sure that nothing is coming do you enter the junction.
